Built for the hungry and undefeated
From a 13-year-old in a country NSW boxing gym to a brand worn in rings right across Australia. This is how Powrbox was made, and who it's made for.

A country NSW town, age 13
The founder, Bryce, started training at 13 at Westside Boxing Club in a country NSW town. The gym was his escape from reality. It kept him focused and away from the elements, as best it could, through his teens and into his early adult life.

Fighting across the country
From there Bryce fought right across the country in Boxing, Muay Thai and Kickboxing, picking up a number of amateur titles and headlining main events along the way.
His last fight was in 2020, just before his daughter was born.
Boxing gave him direction when he needed it most. Powrbox is built on that.

Break the rules
Bryce collects sneakers. And he couldn't understand why boxing gear didn't make people feel the way a fresh pair does.
To him, the Australian boxing landscape was boring. Every brand looked the same. He wanted fighters to be psyched to wear their gear and proud to look after it, like a new pair of kicks.
That idea became Powrbox: a brand built to switch things up and break the rules. It took shape in 2018, and at the start of 2019 Powrbox was born.

The hard yards
The first Powrbox gloves were a lot more basic than the gear we make today. Bryce had no idea about business back then. He spent a lot of money sampling, testing, learning and making mistakes.
The first couple of years were extremely hard for Bryce and for Powrbox. Looking at the sales coming in, he wasn't sure how the brand was ever going to make it.
But persistence and passion prevailed. Same as in the ring: you keep showing up.

Worn with pride
Powrbox are proud to be a part of so many young fighters' journeys as they come up through the ranks.
Fighters like Olympic Silver Medalist Caity Parker, Tyla McDonald, Jye Dixon, who went on to win Commonwealth Games gold for Australia, and rising star Jacob Cassar. All have flown the Powrbox flag proudly over the years, including a trip to LA to train with legendary coach Freddie Roach.
Seeing people represent Powrbox so proudly, in the gym, in the ring, on the podium, still makes Bryce emotional. That never gets old.

Rings built to fight in
Powrbox has grown well past gloves. Together with our production partners, we've built full boxing rings, now standing in gyms like Frank Dando Sports Academy and Team Lantry Boxing & Fitness.
Built tough, branded loud, and made for the next generation to put in the work.

Hungry and undefeated
We stand beside people with a burning desire to win, to compete, to better themselves and to conquer in every part of life.
You don't have to be the most genetically gifted or the best fighter in the world for us to be proud of you rolling with us. The hungriest are often the ones who've had to find their own way. We love that.

Leaving a legacy
Powrbox are building towards being even more deeply ingrained in Australian amateur and professional boxing alike.
For Bryce and the Powrbox team, the goal is simple: keep earning a reputation as the real deal, and leave a legacy unlike any other boxing brand.
